The Corso Italia Heritage mural is composed of 34 individual panels that span the underpass of Preston St. under Highway 417 in Ottawa. (See Mural #8). It is part of a conversion of the entire street into a pedestrian friendly center of Italian heritage. 

Almost all the murals within the larger work focus on one or more of the primary centers of Italian life: family, religion and food. The overall graphics that unify them symbolise the history of the surrounding community, now formally called Little Italy in English, Corso Italia in Italian.

The mural is sponsored by the Preston Street Business Improvement Association and the families commemorated.
